I woke up this morning extremely surprised, and relieved, to see bright blue sky and sun, because all week, rain had been forecasted. And, while it's seems a little strange to celebrate Independence Day in the middle of the week, it's also kind refreshing.
The Mr. and I plan to enjoy our afternoon at a rooftop BBQ with some friends and watch the fireworks later this evening over the Hudson River.
